No way! He retires an Oiler. He’s put so much hard time into that organization. Be terrible for this team and core to win a cup without him part of it. If I’m management I’m not doing that to him unless he asks for it.
Nuge has been so damn dedicated to the oilers it’s unbelievable he never complained never requested a trade never questioned anything about management or ownership ever
As a die hard oilers fan….I've been saying this for a little while now. Whether he gets traded to San Jose for Blackwood, or Nuge and a 1st to Boston for Ullmark. I love Nuge. He is my favorite Oiler and favorite hockey player. I would be devastated, but it's business. The oilers need help and he's an extremely valuable trade piece. Breaks my heart but it would be good for the oilers. That locker room is going to hurt and edmonton fans may riot….but I think they should pull the trigger
