Retain and trade or buyout Petry and please get Edvinson in this line up. The D has been a shit show, why not start getting one of your top prospects? Even if Edvinson is as bad as any of the bottom 3, his ceiling is worth the risk for Edvinson. Ras has been a huge disappointment. Bad penalties along with his lack of offense has been glaring. Is his only move going around the net and slamming it to goaltender??? I hope he gets better, but honestly if i had to remove a forward, it probably be him. He does kill penalties, but Kloston has looked real good. He hits everything in sight, good puck abilities, dont know why he doesnt see more ice time.

Lyon is our only shot to have a good goaltender. Husso hasnt looked good, couldnt have found a better time to have a child for the Wings 😛
They should have 16 outdoor games every year, each team play 1, have the teams with the coldest weather host them.
This statement will certainly bother some people, BUT how about trying the following:
Chiarot – Seider
Walman – Petry
Ghost – määttä
I know chiarot and seider didn't look good last year, but ghost and määttä fit well & petry and chiarot doesn't work….
ADB on the second line could help the team & I don't see it as a punishment for him either, more as a way to get back on track.
Compher defender? he has 13 points in 17 games

Ok so been a Lions Red Wings Tigers Pistons fan my whole life! Lions have sucked my whole life and I'm 40. My grandfather's both told me stories of the 1950's Lions that were good winning Championship's and this team is accomplishing thing that haven't been done in 60 plus years which is great but we haven't won the division yet and we still haven't won a playoff game since 91 so let's pump the breaks on Super Bowl and enjoy what we have at the moment. Love it though nice to see the sports media not crap on Lions every week!

Imagine if they get warm up jerseys that are UofM colors for the wings and the jackets get a red and white color jersey at least for warm ups that would be a really cool thing for the fans to be able to get for being a fan of both teams
Going down 4 goals against Ottawa was the worst part of the Europe trip, but coming back to tie and shutting out Toronto for two periods were the brightest spots. Given up three to Toronto in the third, arguably one of the top 4 or 5 offenses in the league is no shame. Disappointing, yes, but it shows the Wings need more growth. Someone needs to do a stat on how many times a team has given up a two goal lead.
