Michkov at 16 and Gauthier at 17.

I thought this was noteworthy seeing their names surrounded by guys like Cooley, Cousins, and Boldy who are making names for themselves in the NHL. I might not be as sold on Cutter being a savior as most of the people around here, but its nice to see us getting recognition for our future players.

So this is basically saying that the Flyers have the 2 best drafted prospects on the planet currently. Not a bad position to be to start a rebuild…

Michkov being so low is just because he’s in the KHL. If he were doing even half of what he’s doing in the NHL he’s a top 10 player on that list.

  4. I have a problem with how low Michkov is. But I’m very pleased with where Gauthier is.

Gonna be interesting to see what the Flyers do the next few drafts. I’m not convinced Gauthier will be a center in the NHL but its still only his second season playing there so maybe he continues growing into the role. His speed and strength make him a solid forechecker and he likes to shoot from the wing, his vision and passing are solid but nowhere near Michkov but Mich doesnt have Cutter’s speed, we need to find someone who can do a bit of everything. Someone with Cutter’s size and speed and Michkov’s handles and passing. Like Cayden Lindstrom or Roger McQueen.
