  1. To make matters worse the wild decided to buyout Ryan Suter, probably to free up some cash to keep Kirill. Oh boy if he runs off to Russia the wild are in a big mess.

  2. Ahahah all the mini fans where telling me that he’d never leave and we still sitting here and talking about it 😂😂

  3. Seems less about the money, and more about not being stuck with a crappy franchise if they don't build around him

  4. The guy does it want to be in Mn for the rest of his career. Give him a short deal and be done already.

  5. Well with the breaking news that the Twins just traded Nelson Cruz for basically a couple of sandwiches, it wouldn't surprise me if we Minnesota sports fans get a double kick to the groin. Cannot ever have anything nice. Just fold all of the professional MN sports teams already and be done with it.

  6. Guerrin had better get on a plane to Moscow ASAP and offer him 12M per year for 4 years. Commenter can laugh all they want, but I think that's what it will take.

  7. Might just want to be around Russian speaking teammates and hot chicks in Moscow he already proved he can light up the NHL and he will be a force in the winter Olympic Games for team Russia.

  8. This might be bigger then just the wild. It might be the first step trough parity between world league. With ka prison going back to KHL It might lead to others, and others, etc. See you back when I’ll be 40 watching « KHL VS NHL:BATTLE OF HOCKEY »

  9. Sounds like a cancer to the team. I know some GM's throw out huge money but still Aho is 8.5AAV, Rantanen is under 9AAV, Huberdeau is 6AAV, either of those players are better. In short dollar store McDavid wants real McDavid money.

  10. Let him walk. He’ll sign with Detroit after, ask to wear 91, and the comparison will force the Ilich clan to realize Fedorov’s number should be retired in MoTown, which will snowball into getting 13 and 40 in the rafters, as well, and we’ll be that much closer to Yzerman sitting in the loge, watching the 2020’s version of the Cup teams he captained.

  11. The alleged offer from the KHL could be just a negotiating tactic by Kaprizov to get the Contract more to his liking. Maybe Kiril just wants a shorter term contract for less total money BUT more Annual salary. It makes sense for Kaprizov to want this.

  12. Man might as well trade the rights for a couple of 1st round picks. This Guy is something else. I'm not a Wild fan but theyve been loyal and patient for him and he just gonna tease them and leave?!

  13. I think he wants be with the Wild. The relationships he formed with players like Dumba is important. I don't think you have good information on what the KHL is offering. End of the day the Wild are to give this kid whatever he wants, but they should push for at least 4 year term.
