Filip Mešár (#48 blue) picked up 3 goals, 1 assist on 6 shots, +4, 2/5 FO’s. This was his 1st ever hattrick in the OHL. He was named 2nd star of the game. On the season he now has 8 goals, 22 points in 11 games.

Mesar had a good number of bad blind passes. But overall looked good.
Rekhopf and Mesar are just too much to handle at this level

i wish we had done the same with slaf and let him dominate at the junior and then at the ahl level to build his confidence up. probably even loan him to the same team as mesar so they could develop chemistry together before sending them up to the first team.
Kid is playing w/ a world of confidence, right now .. good to see .. hopefully, next yr he can compete for a center spot on the Habs (upgrades on dVorak & Evans are SERIOUSLY needed) or play in Laval for a yr or two till he's ready for the NHL.
Mesar is looking really good
Hopefully in year or two we see him playing with his good childhood friend Slafkovsky.
Imagine how much better Slaf would be if he couldve played in the CHL.
Mesar is having a very impressive start to the season. I hope he keeps it up. He could be good with Slaf one day.

He wasn't ready for AHL. Another yr in junior hockey will do a world of good for Mesar.
