So maybe I’m going to expose my casualness here, but I’m over 40, grew up with my Dad watching Leafs games and his parents being die hard Leaf fans as well….
But, I had never heard the name Salming until shortly before he passed when he was being carted around for the tributes. It seems he was a pretty big deal so I have no idea how I grew up in a Leaf house and followed the team in some aspect for close to 40 years and didn’t know who he was.
