my guess is he injured himself throwing a hit. He can dish, but they’re kind of awkward and that can easily f something up if you’re injury prone.

I don’t think Petey likes Lalji much. He is the same guy that asked him hows his relationship with Miller and if it needs to be better, and Petey uno reversed the question back to him. This was at the end of season media.

Players are never going to admit to being hurt. If he isn’t hurt then there’s something else going on. McDavid also said he was “perfectly fine” and he’s clearly playing through something as well.
I just hope whatever ails him is on the mend. And if not then I think he needs to sit for a while. If this teams is destined for the playoffs this year we need him 100% for that even if that means missing a few games now.
I do love the sass though!

Honestly the obsession with a potential Petey injury is bordering on QAnon levels of cope. People will twist any events to interpret the situation towards their bias.
The NHL is a very difficult league, it’s tough to find space out there. Players go through slumps, yes even ones as good as Petey.
People need to realize Petey is not a god and has some weaknesses to his game.

NHL players basically never openly talk about injuries. That said I very much want to believe him, if it’s just a slump then we’re all good.

What ive noticed is that defending players keep him at a stick length and take away his shooting lane, then a second guy will attack the puck. Its the ultimate compliment imo
