Why The Canucks Sending Adam Gaudette Down Is A Good Move (Vancouver Canucks News Today: Comets AHL)



The Vancouver Canucks have sent forward Adam Gaudette down to their AHL affiliate the Utica Comets. This move is coming off of a hot Vancouver PK and bottom 6, and will give Gaudette the opportunity to actually get some ice time, alongside guys like Nikolay Goldobin, Sven Baertschi, Kole Lind, Lukas Jasek, and Reid Boucher.

    The only thing I think the Canucks need to learn is… How to set up Brock Boeser better! What Ice-time works for oft injured defense. Which player has the most value vs lineup optimization or trade to get Gaud in the line-up. Trade value increased my playing. so lets see what we can get.

    Goaltending has been huge so far. The fourth line is fine because it provides key forwards for the penalty killing and does the job as a checking unit. The third line is not performing well consistently like the other lines it needs to find an identity and start contributing preferably offensively. Having two lines that don't contribute with the scoring will eventually be a liability in todays NHL

    Better in utica then being nr 13, but Sven, gaud and goldy could go to unhappy pretty fast if they dont get any chances. 17 NHL forwards is still way to many. Great for utica but less great to the players that not in the lineup But its hard to complain when its going this good.
