The Islanders need to win soon. They're paying to many long term contracts into their mid 30s.
Isles need to get Barzal signed… Only 4 million in cap space, but if they can put Andrew Ladd's 5.5 M on LTIR, that should be enough to get Barzal's autograph on a contract. Either that, or they have to unload Boychuk with a sweetener to a club like Detroit, who still have good cap space.
