Just 16 games into the season things haven’t quite gone how Sabres fans have thought, but is the season over already?!

    Question….with Comrie and Benson back from IR on friday in Winnipeg who comes off the roster ( thompson goes to IR ).? Does Rousek or Ryan Johnson go back to Rochester? Or does Adams waive Jacob Bryson as with the way R. Johnson has played he has earned a spot with the Sabres IMO. Or does Adams send Levi to Rochester to build his confidence and the Sabres go down to 2 goalies ? .
    My answer is two fold…you send Rousek and Bryson ( assuming he clears waivers ) to Rochester and call up Kullich since the Sabres are struggling offensively.
    Last question do you think Zac Benson will stay with the Sabres ? I guess his next 3 games will determine this. I think he stays but i think theres also a chance the Sabres send Benson to the WJC in Dec .

    If I’m coach I would play Cozens 20 minutes a game and Mittelstadt 20 minutes per game, I would put Greenway on the bench much more, currently the Sabres coach is playing the guys who don’t score more icetime. Greenway is averaging 19 minutes per game the last 5 games, he has been playing more icetime in first two period than all forwards…the guy is a good PK guy but he needs less even icetime. Play the guys we drafted. Cozens was a 30 goal scorer last year and is playing 15 minutes. Just playing on the PK is no excuse, Thompson also played on PK but was playing less in first 2 periods of those games. You don’t win games like that. Mittelstadt is already playing top minutes but is not at a point per game he’s playing well but we are not winning any cups with this current coaching

    After last year. with all the buzz about the up n coming Sabre's, they can't seem to get past the "next step" in the learning curve. Having young and relatively inexperienced goalies doesn't help either, That one is on Adams…

    I'm gonna say yes it's over because there is not one aspect of this team that says "playoffs". This season so far is yet another embarassment to the fans. 50+ years of losing…this is one of the top three worst organizations in rhe NHL.
