The scoresheet doesn’t really tell the story. This was one helluva fun hockey game. Rangers go up 2-0 in the first. No shots for the B’s ~15 mins into the 1st. B’s call an early timeout and promptly score two goals to tie it up. Rangers then call a timeout. Yikes indeed. lmao.

Kreider nets a SHG for the go-ahead late in the 1st. Bruins tie it 26 seconds into the 2nd on the balance of a PP.

Wide open ice at times with two of the best defensive teams in the league.

I would love to see these teams face off in the playoffs, especially if they’re both still playing at this level. It will be a real nail-biter of two powerhouse teams for sure.

  2. Safe to say Boston is hitting the first rough patch of their schedule.

  3. Rangers look awesome this year.

I think the Bruins simply are just not as talented on the defensive front and rely too much on Swayman/Ullmark to bail them out. So if either of our goalies have an off game, we get exposed.

Glad to see that we are doing our usual playoff choking in the middle of the season.

Could’ve been 10-4 if Ullmark had given up the slightest bit or not been in goal, he really kept the score line for turning into a major embarrassment for Boston. Easily 6 plays that lead to odd man rushes or break aways for the Rangers but Ullmark kept saving them

I want to poke fun at Boston so much….but, you know…..Oiler fan and all. FML with a chainsaw

To be honest ullmark stopped this from being 15-4 game

Eases the pain a little of our 1-0 game against them.

I thought the Wings were the only team allowed to beat Boston in regulation.

You guys are a great looking team this season. Definitely cup contenders. I wish I could say the same for the Devils right now

  11. At least it took more than 15 shots to score 7…

    I’m gonna have another drink

What a scoreline. Been wanting to see players from the bottom-6 out up more offense recently and that’s definitely going to go a long way if it continues

Wanted kreider to hit that hatty so bad. He’s 1 ppg away from the NYR 100 club.

This is just 3D chess by Boston so that the Rangers pass them in the President’s Trophy race

Crazy what this team looks like now with an actual coach. And yet we still don’t have Fox or Chytil playing. The boys are cooking

It’s nice to see Quicky has found success in New York. The Kings should have never let him go.

Eh can’t win em all. All I kept saying last season: It’s good to lose once in a while, figure out your weak points. We saw them collapse last playoffs, and the same with Tampa in 2019 playoffs after a stellar season. Need that adversity. Need to play against great teams to be better

Rangers got a few nice goals from their depth guys

Remember when Spittin Chiclets said NYR would miss the playoffs and Oilers would win the cup?

  20. I’m actually rooting for the Rags. NY is in a championship drought that needs to end, and I’m all for anyone besides the Yankees ending it.
