If you watched this fight when it happened and knew nothing about Mayweather, this was enough to tell you this kid really got the juice. Fast hands, good jab, defensive mindset, footwork, head movement, body puncher, counter punching, can fight going forward, can fight going backward, transition from defense to offense on a dime, can make adjustments, good inside fighter defensively and offensively. Man he showed a lot of layers in only two rounds.
Mayweather gets a lot of stick, and hes not my faveorite boxer by any means, but he is great at what he does. Total respect to him, he has to be up there in the top 20 maybe even top 10.
Floyd just kept getting better and better as each fight took place. His Mother told him he was a blessed and diff child and knew he had the Mayweather fighting blood. His dreams came true
Another "I was gonna win" ass nigga! Boy sit yo ass down this ain't no video game where you can just reset it! He fucked you in the same amount of punches you threw at him all mad and stuff only he was studying you first! True Boxing! 🥊Lesson learned!💯 Checked!✅ 2019 🥊🤤
This fight used to be super rare prior to the YouTube days. Websites that used to sell career dvd sets would have every one of Floyd’s pro fights except for this one
Many people are criticizing this Man because he's not fighting the way people want. He's not like other great boxers who fight with the pride of their fans and countrymen. Floyd is boxing for his own satisfaction and he doesn't care what other people say against him, and that's an attitude that a PROFESSIONAL should have. He's not my favorite boxer, but he has my respect!
it looks like half of floyd's opponents think they fall by accident, and then again. They don't understand how they lose and look so confused, lmao. "Why am I on the floor again? I was just about to beat him."

At this point of Floyd's career, Sam probably landed the most punches to Floyd's face.

I was at this fight. That was when Floyd was great but the other fighter really wasn't that good

Sam Girard's boxing score 17-4-1 a total Punching bag.

This was not the sam Girard I was looking for.
This fight he turned the corner. Hes in the zone, capitalizing on every mistake.
