Pay Willy. Understand you won’t be a real cup contender until Tavares isn’t making 11 mill. Once he’s gone or making a reasonable amount of money give some $ to a real #1 defenceman. Give the C to a guy who can set the tone and doesn’t put up with getting face washed like a pussy. You’ll still have a goaltending problem.

I have seen them miss 10/11 playoffs a decade ago. Those were truely dark times.
