It’s been painful to watch them this year. It’s much more fun to watch games where they outscore their problems rather than grind out 2-3 games on a nightly basis.

Playing a more defensive minded or responsible hockey game means far less odd man rushes which is where we were incredibly dangerous last year. It’s always why this team looks so slow this year. This team needs to figure out how to score without fast break odd man rushes. Granato even said it after last night – you can’t win in the NHL scoring pretty goals only, few goals are scored on talent alone and most goals are scored by breakdowns. Start forcing teams to make mistakes
