The kings are pretenders
Definitely think Vegas is a bit too high, but that's probably just a recency bias thing. I'm glad Brucey is acknowledging the dominance of the Kings and how they're absolutely a cup contender.

I don't think Vegas belongs at #2. They've been terrible since that shutout win over the Avalanche. Outside of Winnipeg, I believe all the other 4 are the best in their respective divisions. Boston has fallen off just a slight bit, but they're still clearly the best in their division.

AS a > 40 year Rangers' fan, I can't say I saw this coming. I listened to all the Laviolette naysayers. I can't believe we have the best team in the league!
Ranked 1st overall and that’s before the 7-4 win over the Bruins.
I look forward to each Rangers game because they just win baby.
Love how the Rangers, Jets, and Kings have all looked amazing after some "questionable" trades they've all made. Every single team benefited from a player that was traded. Quick for the Rangers, Kings upgraded their size with Dubois, and the Jets got two prime forwards in Iafallo and Vilardi (plus a nice fourth liner in Kupari)! Wouldn't be surprised if we see the Kings jump the Rangers at some point, but for right now they both look like the favorites to win their conference.
Decent list but VGK over the Kings with their incredible forward line depth and 9-0-0 road record is absurd. Or did Bettman slip Bruce a Benjamin to mention Vegas?

I remember watching Bruce Boudreau coaching the Manchester monarchs against the Hartford Wolfpack… And now he’s on the NHL network saying their NHL affiliate New York Rangers are the best in the league. That’s how I feel but I also love coach Boudreau he is a hockey staple and should be given another opportunity because he is a great head coach.

What is up with the kings fans whining and crying about knights being too high on the ranking? They're a top 3 team in the league, top dog in the west with most points despite playing like garbage lately.
