No distraction teams horrid tank season the vets will be gone after anyway. Chicago sports as a whole sucks
Did Perry get in a fight with a teammate? Did he yell at the coach? Did he piss on the Hawk's logo? Did he send a nude selfie to everyone in the Wirtz family? Was he kidnapped? Did he come to morning skate under the influence? The fans that pay for tickets and follow the Hawks religiously should not be left in the dark. Losing a player for an unknown/undisclosed reason and hiding it is unacceptable. It's not fair to the fans and players alike. Perry was an asset to the team and we all deserve better, to be treated as adults. Personally, being a Hawk fan for 65 years, I am totally bummed about this situation. My guess is that the players themselves know what's happening and management told them to keep their mouths shut. If I am wrong I will eat my words, but until then I'll say what many MANY Hawks fans are feeling but are hesitant to say it out loud.
This reminds me of the Patrick sharp Dunc Keith incident. No idea what happened but the team sent him away. He didn't leave on his own. Something is sketchy here. Either way I love that this team plays with heart win or lose. Life long hawks fan since early 70s
Substance abuse is my best most logical guess with the little information available. Pure speculation.
