[Chad DeDominicis] Going off of only 32TP this morning it would seem the Sabres are going to end up on the outside with Pat Kane. Friedman did say it’s hard to get info right now but Buffalo was only mentioned at the end of it as a token they can offer multiple years too.

Use the money you were willing to give Kane on an NHL level starting goaltender.
I wonder… does the downsides of our shaky record get nulled by the upside of never entertaining a Patty Kane 4.5×2 (or 3yr) contract? Because essentially “Sabres not great this November” = no Kane.
Because man that contract would suck going forward.
