  1. Toronto has 2 Good Goalies , More Good Positional Players this Year
They Played The Good Positional Players Last night to make the Comeback and If the Leafs Focus on Their better Positional Players, They will be a Force in the Playoffs this Year.
They definitely need a better Power Play.
The Same Old Same Old is Costing Them with this Low Percentage Power Play that Toronto's Management Prefer.
Shoot from the Points and Watch Your Power Play become very Powerful , Toronto's Power Play is Impotent and it Injures Players.
    Stop It.

  2. Samsanov just needs to Warm Up
I pick Domi and Tavaras to Drive Toronto to a Win at the Beginning of Last Nights Game.
They are Toronto's Best Positional Players and They Bring Up the Play of other Good Positional Players when Toronto Lines Them Up Together.
Toronto Chose to Line Them Up in Desperation and it Paid Off like I said it would.
If the Leafs Stick to their Best Positional Players , They will be Competing for the Cup.

  3. Woll looks way better in the net. He's calm, never flopping around and just seems to have a silent confidence. Sadly, i think Sammy might get next game still because it's against his former team. But really, Woll should be starting going forward!

  4. It's early in the season cats, if teams start dumping their veterans at the first sign of a possible issue for a rookie you're gonna have a hard time attracting veterans to your team and as a coach, you put yourself in a position where you could lose the room.

Samsonov will come around, but there is obviously a chance that for whatever reason, maybe he's got the big money he wanted and felt he was worth, and had to go to arbitration which may have soured him, or, perhaps, like so many other players, when they get the big money they no longer have the drive they had when playing for the contract. That's been a common issue in the league.

So, if Samsonove doesn't come around, you have to give him a fair shot. I'd give him ten starts before making a big decision.

What do you do if Woll starts to struggle and you've pissed Samsonov off by taking the start too soon?

It's early going, let's see what developes.
