  1. I think one thing worth trying right now is putting Pasta with Poitras. Poitras has passed the eye test of late, but he's been stuck with players in a slump or guys that just lack offensive talent. He's had most of his time on lines with Geekie, Debrusk, Frederic, and Heinen. Debrusk is the only gifted offensive player of that group, and he's been in a major slump. Poitras possession and playmaking has been solid, even with less than ideal linemates and minutes. I think it's worth a try. I'd probably want to put JVR on the left side, maybe Debrusk, and see how that does.

    After that, probably Marchand – Coyle – Frederic, then whoever fits best or is left over of Heinen/Zacha/Geekie/Debrusk or JVR. Maybe Lysell gets a shot, who knows.

  2. The Bruins strength is goaltending. If the goaltending falters the team's weaknesses are exposed. There's a definite need for scoring and toughness.
