If you’re in the slot on the powerplay or goalie pulled SHOOT THE FUCKING PUCK.

  2. dixie12oz

Who didn’t see that coming? Let us hang around for far too long and we didn’t do shit about it. Blues continue to be trend breakers.

lol the bjc difference maker was the fucking crossbar

  4. STLBooze3

We’re now 0-9 this season when entering the 3rd period without the lead. You have to have some type of fight to come back. Especially down 1 against a division “rival” when your goalie is standing on his head.

Also someone gotta teach Buchy how to one time for the love of god.

Not putting a lot of stock into it, new coach game is always a win.

Blues continue to show that at times, the offense, defense, and goaltending all shine. Just need to make them all do it every night.

And that, random blues redditor from earlier is why the blues vs the 7 losses in a row wild were +145 underdogs. Easier to predict we’d fuck this up than the sharks game tbh. See you all Thursday.

I don’t really think they played bad besides that stretch in the second. All the comments about us playing down to a bad team are silly. The wild were never as bad as their record shows. They lost their last 7 games and blocked a ton of shots tonight. They came to play and we kept it close.

Kyrou’s gotta remove his head from his ass immediately

  9. As disappointed as I am right now, honestly the better team won – that coaching change 100% lit a fire under their asses, I don’t think there’s a team in the league that would have beaten them tonight

  10. Hotstreak

This team needs a actual goal scorer. Kyrou has completely disappeared. The defense looks a lot better this year but we aren’t scoring enough. Vrana hasn’t done jack, kapanen is really good at almost finishing plays. This is just a really mediocre blues team.

Oh well, the wild are still super mild and will probably go on a losing streak after this.

  11. Takeaways:

    1. Wild dominated. I don’t care about posts, they were determined to win this game and they deserved it. Blues looked tired and got what was coming.

    2. Kyrou. Figure it out. Stop hitting posts, start scoring. You aren’t being paid 8 million a year to be Valeri Bure.

    3. I didn’t like Binner out of position on the second goal but damn he nearly stole a point tonight.

    4. The way the game was going was classic team gets bailed out by goaltending and come back to tie it late but alas we have no goal scorers on this team. It’s very frustrating to watch although I liked the defensive composure which gave us a chance to win.

The hardest part about this isn’t how we lost but that PP for 4 minutes. I know we hit the bar but you gotta have it there and we still can’t figure it out even against the worst teams at pk. But I ain’t saying you just give a guy the shot, but if kyrou isn’t on the 1st pp unit, what good is he to this team? He’s really showing why people on the roster got pissed he got paid early.

Losing to a team that just lost 7 in a row? Not scoring during a 4 minute power play against a team with the worst penalty kill in the league? Fuck that. Absolute trash performance. This team continues to become more pathetic year after year. Armstrong builds a championship team then slowly broke it apart. Thanks ya dipshit

  14. PunchNessie

I appreciate all of you. The team may be up and down but for some reason we all show up and do this together.

  15. I for one am not shocked we didn’t score on that double minor. In fact I would have been shocked if we did score

  16. PerryNeeum

This team is a product of bad contracts. Nowhere to improve via trade due to NTCs and we have 3 years until the first NTC, Leddy, and 4 until Saad. Scandela is done after this year so that will give us some room. Anyways, with the D we have and the D system we have to play due to the parts we are locked into, we are going nowhere. I give Binner barely any shit because the garbage in front of him is killing him. A goalie can steal a game from time to time but goalies keeping you in games on a regular basis, win or lose, is a positive. Anyways, hard to get excited even if we hit the playoffs with a D like this. Soft Central. Offense is for another day. I have no energy to complain about all the lackluster players. Kyrou though…Jesus. Vrana is more bang for the buck and that is depressing

  17. jaredcnote

Try to stack up draft capital with scandella, Kap, and vrana. Try to find a home for Krug that he will not decline. Probably not making playoffs. That’s ok. Neighbors is a positive. Hofer too. Dvorsky is lighting it up in junior. Snuggy is scoring and is only 19. The future is bright!

  18. Brawhalla_

We wasted all of our (which is not much) offensive time on cross seam passes which got picked apart every time. The one goal we scored was someone collecting a rebound and putting a fucking shot on goal. There’s no mystery with a 20 shot game, we tried to be pretty and forgot to shoot the damn puck. Not one of our guys knows how to one timer, not one of our guys was heavy on the puck. We got fucked. Good job Binner and always happy to see a Parayko goal.

  19. alexander_doooflicky

A 0.500 team against a team 24 hours after a new coach. This was bound to happen

  20. Is Kyrou just becoming a more expensive Patrik Burglund?

  21. Rocky_Freese

Kyrou was paid $8 million to become one of our top goal scorers, but he’s not even on pace for a 20-goal season at this rate…

4 goals in 21 games. At least Thomas is our leader in points, goals, and assists.
