Great comeback win Devs! This guy Lazar has wayyy exceeded my expectations of him! He does everything and means everything to this team! Mike McCloud playing lights out this year same way he was for us in the playoffs last year, I’ve never seen him play at such a high level! Nico and Hughes missing a few games brought out the beast in Lazar, McLoud, Mercer and Holtz! When Meier comes back and hopefully is in form, we’re going to score 5 or more goals a game regularly!
If we can get decent goaltending for once this year then we’re making the playoffs! This team is just way too good to not go deep into the playoffs! We just need a damn Chris Terreri, we don’t even need a Brodeur to win it all in these times, we’ve got a top 5 offense and the best power play in the NHL! And this is a shot at/to Vanecek and Shmid! Step your game up dudes!
Brendan Smith has improved this season as well now that he’s better acquainted with his new team! Great message sent to the islanders and the league that we will not be bullied! I said it before, I’ll say it again: if this Devils team decides to start imposing their will physically then our lackluster goaltending is the only thing that can beat us
