How Good Is New York Rangers HUGE PROSPECT Adam Edstrom | Scouting Report

if he is replacing kakko for a longer term, might as well look at how he plays. He plays all 3 forward positions. He was a 6th round pick so most of us, me included, dont really know much about him

6’8 and moves like he is 5’10…. I am very intrigued.

The video was a little vague about his size. How big is he again??????

  3. Beerfoodbeer

I wonder if we will be able to spot him in the ice

I have a feeling we’ve got a Tage Thompson lite in this guy

Anyone know if he’s taller than Mats Zuccarello? 🙂

If you didn’t know; he is 6’8” and 225 pounds

  7. He looks like the dude from goon that Doug punches in front of the little girl

Video took 6 minutes and all I got:

    -He’s 6’8″ 225

-Can play all forward positions which not many guys his size, which is 6’8″ 225, can do.

-Great skater and great hands for his size, which is 6’8″, 225.

-Talented player for his size, which is 6’8″ 225.

I remember when we drafted this guy I thought, “he’s probably too big to be able to keep up with the speed of the NHL, but it’s the sixth round and he’s massive, so why not?”

If we actually get a look at Edstrom and he seems like he can handle himself up here, it would be quite the gift.

Swedes are usually responsible 2way players; maybe a true 3C and move Bonino back to 4C

I hate the saying, good skater for his size. The first time I remember hearing it was the scouting report for Hugh Jessiman, which obviously didn’t turn out well for the Rangers.

Why doesn’t HUGE PROSPECT Adam Edstrom simply eat all the other prospects?
