    Dang. Couldn't spark enough in front of the goalie, but otherwise I'm not too worried… yet. We looked strong, the work ethic was there. We usually give up 3 per game, but they were struggling, too. They just caught us coming forward a couple times. And we weren't thinking laterally enough cutting through their blue line. Dallas is just so thick toward the puck. There's always 2 guys on it, so you've got to have 3 guys churning the ice at all times just to keep possession. They sit back strong on their haunches, and score coming forward.

    Jets were maybe thinking fwd fwd fwd too much. There was lots of good to take from it, but it's tough after a loss. Go Jets, go.

    If the Jets cannot score with 2 — (5 on 3's) on the powerplay, you have to rethink your
    execution, and change some strategies. The difference in this game was the Jets did
    not convert their chances, and Dallas did. Morrissey had 2 or 3 chances, and Scheifele
    had 2 great chances, and neither could score. That's basically the difference in this game,
    and also the Dallas goaltender was great. The Jets didn't give up tho, and kept on fighting,
    and just needed a couple of their chances to go in. Helle played good as well, only allowing
    2 goals, and usually you can win with only 2 goals against. Our scorers did not convert tonight.
