Everyone is so down on Dumba. Yeah he makes costly mistakes, but he's going to be a part of the future core of the defense whether anyone likes it or not. Not many defenseman can score 10-11 goals every season and Dumba is one of those few that can do it; defense is something that he needs to work on, but he's only 23 years old. Dumba seems to play better alongside Ryan Suter, so maybe it's just the players he's with. I think he knows at this stage in the game that he needs to play better and he's certainly doing that.

It's nice to see Dumba showing improvement
