  1. Thank god we got rid of him and didnā€™t have to give up anything! Great move by the blackhawks! Bedard will make him relevant again for sure šŸ˜‚ Love the position Vancouver will be now with their cap! šŸ„°

  2. This was precipitated by Perry being waived, obviously. If the reports about him are true, there is something wrong with Perry as a person and a team mate. I mean, could he not envision how his actions would not only affect the team but Bedard personally and professionally? Perry was brought in to provide leadership. What he may have caused are pain and humiliation for himself, his team mates, the Chicago organization and the entire Bedard family.

  3. Glad to see him go somewhere and possibly become relevant again. Iā€™m also glad that we gained some valuable cap space. Honestly I think itā€™ll be used to resign Ethan Bear, call it a hunch. I know a lot of people want us to trade for Tanev buts heā€™s way too old imo, and his cap hit too high for what you get. Itā€™s a bit of nostalgia that Canucks fans want him back.šŸ˜®

  4. This is a steal of a deal for Chicago. He is worth a second to a third. The same value as Connor Brown,Ottawa got a second from Washington and a cap savings as well, they dumped him.Chicago are all smiles now.

  5. Purely a cap dump. A 5th round pick only has about a 25% chance of playing a single game in the NHL, and about a 5% of being a regular.

  6. Having watched Beau for years on the Island, my conclusion about him as a player is that he's wildly inconsistent. They'll be games he'll look like he's a $6 million+ player and other games that you'll want to waive him. I think he's worth the gamble since he only has this year left on his contract.
