I tried to sign Kane as a free agent in a new NHL 24 season and he declined every time even when I offered above the term and asking price. I later played against the team he signed with after I gave up and he had a 5 point game against me. Mfer.

Cautiously optimistic about his ability to play, since Kane himself said a while back that he felt better than last year, pre-surgery, and that he felt ahead of schedule with respect to the rehab and conditioning. He didn’t want to come back early, so he just kept with the rehab for the full/recommended time table. He’d be one of the first to successfully come back from one of these procedures, but I guess someone will have to be the first, so why not this dude?

I really hope this works out and he goes against the numbers of a comeback from this surgery. Still gonna take a long time to get used to seeing him in red and white though. It’s funny the amount of shit I talked about him in past hockey conversations and now he’s on our team. So I must like him.
