It’s nice to see some production coming out of the top six, if nothing else! Slaf continues to string together good offensive games, and really seems to be building chemistry with Caufield. Not the cleanest game, but it ended up being a pretty fun one.

Dunno if I’ve ever seen a d to d at the offensive blue line slapshot empty netter before

i don’t think i heard gaudreau’s name all night but tbf i missed the first and had to make dinner during the second

  5. I love the zone control 5 on 5, playing like we were on the power play and keeping it in and under control

When is the last time we’ve had a successful road-trip? So refreshing… plus 2 victories out of 3 in California. A road-trip win within the main road-trip win. 🙏

I may be alone in this, but I was not frustrated at all watching this game.

    I genuinely enjoyed the hockey.

We looked great. We literally controlled the play on one shift for like 2 minutes straight in their end.

    This was good puck.

  8. antoinePucket

Who would have guessed! When your wingers score, you win games.

  9. Hooray! Good game! Except for the ugly game with kings we did great on the roadtrip!

1st period was ugly hockey, but the next 2 periods were pretty decent.

Laine letting the puck get past him on the point and then just standing there was brutal. I understand why he gets benched holy smokes.

  11. Congratulations to Cole getting to 60 goals in 145 games, but Sprague Ribinsoin did it in his first game.

I’m still scratching my head why does some people want to trade Monty that’s so stupid I’m sorry but that’s true I would be truly upset if we traded him he’s the reason why we had 6 out of 10 points in 5 away games I know the oilers have an extreme interest in him but as good as Kent his I don’t see him traded away unless there’s a mountain of gold in the trade (in mountain of gold I mean a lot of things in our way to the trade) Allen wouldn’t be super happy either but it’s more understandable but Monty is still young is a Quebec born goalie and is doing pretty good recently had some flukes but still

That caufield, Suzuki and slafkovsky shift was was amazing for future hope.

Newhook, Matheson looks really good in habs uniforms.

Columbus sucks ass again. Johnny hockey is a product of Matthew tkachuk, there I said it.

  14. Is it true there were Oilers scouts at tonights game?

Monty’s stonks are rising, but I don’t want him to go anywhere.

    *GOOD*

    – Not really a thriller persay but a game in which they got the job done. Good to grind one out and get the win.

    – Armia has been up and down to the AHL. I’m assuming it’s some cap reason and how it’s easy to send him up or down or whatever nor do I really care but if we are going on basis of play this year every game he’s been in he has been decent. Good deflection.

    – Watch the little Slaf play to Dvorak on the Caufield goal (yay). Slaf is doing very well out there.

    – Newhook good.

    – Struble continues to be noticeably in games. He’s going to make a few errors because he likes to pinch but man he makes a lot of good small plays as well.

    – Ride with Monty a bit. The three goalie thing is cute I guess but it isn’t houseleague.

    *BAD*

    – Defensive zone play with that zone I’m just going to copy and paste the whole year basically here. It’ll work against teams like Columbus but even then it was too much space for their better players. This in my opinion is why better teams tend to eat the Habs up a bit offensively.

    – It’s getting old and I don’t want to keep piling on but honestly it’s too objective at this point regarding Josh Anderson. It’s a broken record.

    – Dvorak. Just bleak offensively. The most Marc Bergevin player in the history of Marc Bergevin players.

Habs now have a 10-10-2 record, with 22 games played and 22 points.

An omen for Caufield lifting the Cup 22 times? I’ll take it.

  17. Gustav Lindstrom has more goals than Josh Anderson this season.

  18. itsdajackeeet

Good game by Monty, our Rodney Dangerfield – dude gets no respect.

Nice to see CC pot one 5 on 5 but I still think he belongs back with Suzuki. They’ve both gone through cold periods whilst apart.

Anderson – seriously, sit the guy not to punish but to give him a break and let him watch from a different angle.

They started slow but not terrible. Thought they were the better team in the latter half of the game.

  19. YoungMetro_

I cannot wait to see Dach center Caufield and Slafkovsky.

  20. tehsdragon

Newhook and CC leading the Habs with 7 goals apiece, you love to see it

  21. Nice to see the Habs win. Slafkovsky has been better now.

  22. MrTightface

Is this the first time we win by more than one goal this year?

  23. Shifty_Pickle826

Armia now has the same amount of pts as Anderson. Armia got waived before the season started, Anderson deserves to be waived now
