  1. Perhaps Elvis but Laine although would be most welcomed and probably light it up with McDavid or Nuge passing to him, his cap hit is waaaaay too high, unless we could unload Nurse and a draft pick to make it happen, I'm all in!

  2. I highly doubt they are looking at Peeke. he had the worst +/- in the league last year and he did not play today. he only has 4 games this season. possibly Adam Boqvist or Jake Bean but I think both of their cap hits are too high and I dont think columbus wants to let go of them. 0 chance they are looking at Merzlikins so I doubt they are looking at anyone on columbus. Montreal has a cheap defence core so someone like Johnathan Kovacevic or Kaiden Guhle. Maybe theyre willing to give up Justin Barron. the other reason i can think of is Sam Montembeault. i dont think they are looking at any forwards. I know i pulled so of these names out of my ass but they usually send scouts for a reason.

  3. Regarding the cap problem, seeing how Chicago was able to terminate Corey Perry for reasons unknown, what sort of misbehavior/action would someone like say, Jack Campbell, need to commit to qualify for such an action happening in Edmonton?

  4. Boone Jenner really interests me, itd be tough, but he is cheaper, grewt two way forward and an awesome leader. Being a center, they could put him 2nd line and load up draisaitl on top line, or even have a center depth of McDavid draisaitl and Jenner, leaving nuge in the top y whilst giving them great center depth still. Colombus would still have to be out of the playoffs by the trade deadline, but ya never know. It could happen, with the right trade proposal.

    Please excuse my typing xD

  5. Skinner is not a #1 goalie; he’s more suited as a backup. The team needs a true #1 goalie to secure a championship. Whenever Skinner wins a game, it’s often because the team in front of him played exceptionally well. Conversely, when the Oilers lose and Skinner is blamed, the defense takes the hit. While defensive breakdowns lead to grade A scoring chances for the opposing team, Skinner also needs to make crucial saves, which he falls short of most of the time. I find it puzzling that there are still fans defending him. In my view, he won’t be the key to the Oilers winning the cup; they need someone else.

  6. Oilers need some meanness some attitude and some tough they should be grabbing up Perry while they can. Who cares what he did. As long as he isnt some sex offender he should be good to go

  7. Montembeault is the best and most realistic option out there. Unless you are getting a bonafide starter( Saros or Hart) you gotta take bets on guys and buy low on them right now. Montembeault and Ingram are the 2 guys I would have given cap hit and acquisition cost. I really believe Monty could be our Adin Hill
