How This Guy Mastered Fingerboarding | Obsessed | WIRED

Did you play with fingerboards when you were younger? Welcome to the next-level of fingerboarding. Mike Schneider is a professional fingerboarder, the owner of FlatFace Fingerboards, and is really, really good at fingerboarding. Mike has been manufacturing his own fingerboards and scaled-down skateparks since he was 9 years-old. In Dracut, Massachusetts, you can find the FlatFace Fingerboards building. Here, Mike spends 40+ hours a week practicing, building, and socializing with other fingerboarders in what can only be described as “Fingerboard Heaven.”

  2. This dude will be 50 and miserable one day because we spent his life doing meaningless things instead of building a life of purpose…

  3. I used to love building mini skate parks out of ply wood and popsicle sticks and stuff. never worked super great but it was a lot of fun haha.

  4. Dude, I’m 48, we used to make finger boards in 1987 out of shoebox cardboard, tape and matchbox car wheels with the axles. Then I bought a good one in the 90’s then a few years ago and still cannot do anything like this guy!
    That is frikin mind blowing!!!

  5. I am not in a good time of my life, I can't skate anymore like before, but see this dude making this makes me feel happier again =)

  7. I started learning finger boarding today and after the first few hours I was already doing some basic grinds on little ledges and also some basic grinds and slides down a hand rail. I am 35 and am using the tech deck toys I had when I was 13! It’s crazy that I once played with these and now here I am trying it as a hobby doing it properly!

  8. Women love this guy, because through years of fingerboarding he always became the king of foreplay! 😆🤟🏼
