  1. This one was nutty. I fell asleep in the first (long work week) and woke up as a very delighted NYR fan. Lol.

  2. L.F.G.R. JUST…. wow. Can't believe we won this game. Preds had ALL the momentum through the first period. Nashville said they WEREN'T DONE with their Winning Streak just yet, bad luck to face Minnesota ready with the OVERDUE AND GIANT rebound game for their new coach. This had EVERY hallmark of a trap game and Rangers loss… under Gallant it would have been one…
But we somehow stay resilient and find the way to win. Its getting pretty incredible, y'all

  3. Predators dominated the first period. Shout out to coach Lavi for mixing up all the lines for the start of period two. The Rangers won both the second and third period.

  4. Neither Igor nor the entire Rangers team played well in the first period. Lucky it wasn't a bigger hole. But they are impressing even more with their resilence in these kinds of games especially on the road. Winning like this is not going to be automatic, so the Rangers still need to play better for 60 full minutes.

  5. I didn't think the Rangers were going to rally all the back after the first. Turnovers all over the place. Wild fight back to get revenge on October's terrible game. And a shout out to Brodzinsky for his terrific game! The Wolfpack has some real players.

  6. The MSG broadcast said that Nashville was a S-T-R-O-N-G first period team and they really showed it. The Rangers compounded it by looking flat as a board. But once that second Rangers goal went in, I had a feeling they were going to pull it off. Throw in Laviolette actually making some coaching decisions with the lines and adjusting and this Rangers team feels legit.

That does not mean I'm overconfident about tomorrow's game. San Jose seems to have a gift for upsets.

  7. Rangers outplayed for long stretches of this game – pulled out a win thanks to Shesterkin playing like Shesterkin in the 2nd and 3rd.

  8. Credit has to go out to our GM. I've been a Rangers fan for 50 years, I'd be hard pressed to remember a time when they could absorb key injuries and still flourish. I think I was the only one who was ecstatic about the Trocheck signing. He has always been great at taking face offs, if he can stay healthy there could be a case made for him being team mvp. I can't believe how well Vesey has been playing in the box, I've been all over him for being soft. I love how this team has been put together (also talent in the pipeline) and with a few tweaks, I think they actually can win it this year. I'd like to see a 3rd line center with a cup win brought in at the deadline, also Vitrano would be an excellent fit. I wouldn't be surprised to see Tarasenko or Kane back. I'd be so happy for this group to win it all, but most of all to see Shesterkin bless himself before he piled on, what a great moment that would be.
