Hi I have a noob question: does the loss stat increase when we tie as well as the tie stat? So last night both the loss and tie number went up?

I’m thinking 2-5-1, we beat Ottawa, Montreal beats us by 1 or 2 (could be wrong), devils are on a 3W hot streak whereas we’re on a 3L cold streak (counting the last OTL), Tampa Bay has Vasilevsky back so that’s an L, Minnesota should be a pushover, Florida will kick our teeth in with their usual physicality, we’ll probably make it to OT against Chicago, and the Kings will probably hand us our worst loss score-wise in this stretch.

I don’t see a whole lot of reason for optimism. This team had an awful start and has only gotten worse in goal and with injuries piling.

It’s hard to make predictions this season. I’m trying to stay upbeat, but we keep losing close games. Especially in OT because they can’t maintain a lead. Hell we couldn’t even beat Chicago.

I was a point off last time, with my guess of 4-2-1 to an actual 3-2-2, so I’ll go 4-2-2 this time. Gotta stay optimistic for my sanity. There are two bottom feeders, two bubble teams, two decent teams, and two teams I think are contenders. Nice balance coming up.

This is a good stretch to see if our team has turned a corner. A lot of teams on this list are struggling as well, so these are teams we should be beating if we are a playoff squad.
My bar is 10 points during this stretch, but I can see us going 5-1-2 and getting 12 points.
