K, so the reason it doesn't make sense for Bourney is because the truth is that this happened at a bar and he hit a woman and then got in a bar fight over it. They were more than happy to let everyone believe he simply acted inappropriate with a female staffer.

You're absolutely right Bourne players are starting to manipulate this program just like with Lucic and now Perry players are committing violence or sexual harassment and then blame it on substance abuse and not take accountability for their serious actions!
It's great that the NHLPA has this program and Society is finally taking Substance Abuse and Mental Health seriously put these two guys in particular are just using it as a way to possibly get a another shot add coming back or trying to restore their legacy!
When Matthews is on he is absolutely incredible. He just has to decide to do it. He has the ability to take over a game like when he scored 3 to come back vs Tampa in the playoffs. I just don't know why he doesn't have that motivation most of the time.

kypreos is brutal, he literally can’t talk about hockey without pissing and moaning that he no longer plays in the league.

JB – just half of CP's contract was signing bonus, so he collected essentially $2.5M of the $4M for playing 20 games. As a guy with total contract value of over $100M I don't think CP hurting. Do agree the whole situation seems odd in that the situation must be embarrassing enough to cause CP to terminate the contract while not being a criminal.

Why is it that crazy to ask Matthews to play more like Ovi did under Barry Trotz? Like you don’t need to win a Selke, but you need to be a physical presence that can score and also plaster guys to the boards 🤷🏽♂️
