Unparalleled Success from Ottawa.
As a former very recent Ottawa fan, can I humbly suggest you only watch videos that are not Ottawa specific, like the ones on this channel. As the new Ottawa Mgmt is not looking at social media, you voices will not be heard. The only way to change is if we stop going to the games and stop giving revenue to channels that only cover the Ottawa Senators specifically. 3 years ago, they lied to me, and i forgave them last year and yet even this 6ear I bought into this BS! Both the GM and the players lied to me again this year and like a fool I believed them (what does that make me?). I may be a fool but this is a fool who will take many years before i believe anything that comes from this team. My faith in both the Mgmnt and the PLAYERS is foundationally broken!

These games made me laugh. Ottawa needs a new captain, Brady is an over emotional, immature, little baby. Everytime he’s losing he acts like a child trying to “rally” his team together. It’s embarrassing and played out at this point. Wings fan btw.

Nothing more frustrating for a team thats trying to come from behind, than having your goalie/defense, keep giving up weak goals right after your team scores to get back in the game. How in the world did Jersey have such a great season last year with this defense/goalie situation? Tonight was the prime example of having a great performance by goalie as opposed to a mediocre performance by the goalie, can lift an underdog over a favorite single handedly! Both games! Kudos to great goalie performances! Bad goalies, pick up your games dudes!

The Devils are at a tipping point. Either Fitz makes some moves before the Xmas break and gets us a big bodied defenseman and a goaltender, or we probably won't reclaim our playoff spot. Then again, if the injuries keep stacking, theres always next year.

It's not an Xs and Os thing with NJ's defense. Same system they played last year. To me, it's mental. Basically, a decision-making problem. They get caught out of position, defensively, again and again. This is still a young team and they got even younger in some key areas (minus Graves, Severson, and Tatar and added Luke and Holtz as regulars). There were no expectations last year, even in the playoffs. I think they're experiencing the weight of that now.
I'm surprised THG hasn't done a video about Ottawa yet this season. Bottom of the East, close to bottom overall. Only a matter of time before he has to do one I suppose.

The NJ/SJ deal seems to be working out MUCH better for SJ, Zetterlund is playing much better, Shakir Mukhamadullin is progressing as well as we'd hope in the AHL, the 23' draft pick ended up being Quintin Musty who's destroying it in the OHL(21pts in his last 10 games. 10g 11a) and Nikita Okhotyuk has been playing well (like he belongs in the NHL) after being called up.

I just don't get why DJ and his coaching staff aren't fired.
When you look at the coaching carousel of yesteryear, Paul MacLean, Cory Clouston, John Paddock and Marc Crawford got fired for less than DJ and yet – he remains in control of the bench staff for practically five years now and the highest he's ever finished was 6th in the division.
