This is why none of us got penisy after they beat the Devils. We knew we could have been next…

Same amount of goals as when SJS beat us 9-2 in 13/14! The game when Tomas Hertl deked Marty Biron into retirement.

San Jose is 6-7-1 after starting 0-10-1. They’re bad but not quite as bad as their start imo
Edit to add: And they have wins in that stretch against the Caps and Canucks who are in playoff positions and the Devils and Oilers as well.

A very unique trap game, flying in from Nashville just before is also v difficult

It’s the Duclair factor. No matter where he goes he makes us regret giving him up every time we play him… like most former Rangers

Eh, give them some credit. Sharks have a young team that seems to be figuring it out, at least a good amount more than earlier in the year. That plus they are getting healthier. If they can fix their turnover and d issues they might be an ok squad next year. Only thing that really concerned me was our d looked asleep tonight but I’m going to chalk that up to being tired from back to backs and the night before being away.

Second half of a B2B in which we played a mid afternoon game 1,000 miles away. I’m just glad we won

Call me old fashioned but I would prefer a 3-1 or 2-0 result over what we saw over the weekend (and even the past few weeks).
Fantastic start and I’m super proud of the boys, but I see some bad habits creeping back into their defensive game.

NHL Network dudes were calling for a low scoring affair. Doh.

The team flew to Nashville, won, flew back home that night, won.
I can barely get out of bed the day after I fly in a plane.
