  1. A small time coach like Crawford got exposed for his toxic energy and was out of the league for a long time. I wonder how many stories got swept under the rug before Keenan made his quiet exit from the NHL? Just how bulgy is that rug to have such a famous and "celebrated" coach exit the NHL?

  2. Donnie a good interviewer because he listens and can ask questions as they arrive in conversation, rather than ironclad sticking to the script.

  3. I really enjoyed this interview, nice job. It's wonderful to have Toch, Gonchar and Foote behind the bench mentoring . I'm a happy Canuck fan once again.

  4. He is absolutely right, other teams now have a book on the new Canucks. Going to be a lot harder for the rest of the schedule.

  5. I love hearing that little story about Brock Boeser going to Tocchet and telling him what he didn't do right… I really think Boeser's return to prominence is going to be one of the best Canucks stories, if not the very best, this year. I have been rooting for this guy, and am just so happy that he seemingly has finally taken that next step to become the player we all want to see him be (and maybe more).

  6. Yeah Donny got the gold star in this interview. Whenever a guest says โ€œGood questionโ€ thatโ€™s confirmation Donnyโ€™s on his game. Iโ€™m sure heโ€™ll gloat and rib Dhaliwal about it after lol

  7. I always thought that if Joe Sakic had played in Vancouver we would have at least 2 Stanley cups by now, imagine him with the sedins, I hope rick tocchet can pull this off before I die ๐Ÿ‘

  8. Fantastic the Canucks' media department finally acknowledged the popularity of D&D with Vancouver sports fans and got a major guest on the show – the interview was great, Toch gave solid honest answers and we should all look forward to more of this – well done everyone.

  9. The Canucks will make a fast exit in the playoffs if they donโ€™t fix their penalty kill and zone coverage. Itโ€™s way too passive and focused on positioning rather than pressuring the puck handler! Teams who win in the playoffs/cup all have one distinct trait – they out pressure teams and force turnovers – they donโ€™t sit back and wait for unforced errors! Hockey dominant teams have FLOW – not structure that is predictable and stagnant – those teams will always lose races for lose pucks and will always be following instead dictating the play. Ironically, Van has a long list of coaches who didnโ€™t grasp that concept (Boudearu got it) and the lack of playoff success!
