  1. Well of course he would. That’s his job.

Meanwhile 99% of the Australian cricketing fans scratching their heads how this bloke still gets a game after two years of failures. Certainly not selected on form

  2. Warner’s manager is a genius. Anyone that has managed to keep Warner playing test cricket as long as he has despite his shitty average over the last 4 years has some magic fairy dust he is working with. Either that or he is blackmailing the selectors with all that extra special information about Sandpapergate he claims to know. Johnson is bang on the money, and in the absence of credible stats to refute MJ they are going personal. Kudos to Mitch.

  3. Absolute Tripe from Erskine. The bloke can barely put a sentence together, politicians stutter less than James.

  4. Let’s make a deal Davey? We’ll give you a test match farewell in Sydney but you agree to walk away from cricket PERMANENTLY…. No T20, no ODI & no commentary.

  5. Regardless of whether Warner deserves another game or not i can guarantee he will smash Pakistan. Remember the last home series against them

  6. Warner one of the best opener batsman in the world. He has great contributions for Australian cricket.

  7. Mitchell jhonsons has made disgraceful comments against warner .I strongly believe warner deserves a grand send off. Is Mitchell jhonson Jealous of warner ???

  8. The sandpaper matter was almost closed. But now Mitchell jhonsons for no reasons brings it out .His disgraceful comments against warner was unnecessary. Is Michelle jhonson mentally sound.

  9. The guy was our leading AUS run scorer in the WC win and also in the lead up games, and his fielding set the standard for the finals. And you guys are still bagging him. And in saying when he’s going to retire he’s being far more responsible than many players who give a game’s notice, or none. He doesn’t control the selectors. All he can do is say he’s available. That isn’t a crime.

  10. I'm with MJ. Warner is an embarrassment to Australia – he's always been a dickhead i'm surprised more people haven't called him out. Why is he even in the test team? Anyone else would've been dropped years ago

  11. Harris and other full time openers are not good enough to replace Warner but James forgot about a talented pool of openers like Travis Head and Mitch Marsh. Head probably best to replace Warner then bring back Green so you have tested high quality test batsmen. Harris is risky and Head is risky too but I prefer to accept the risk with Head.

  12. Edwards right 2018 sandpaper gate, the only player who should be saved is Bancroft. Cummins was in the team of reverse swing. And now he’s captain, osman was there too

  13. Look I don't blame or disagree with what Mitchell Johnson has said about David Warner, Warner hasn't been playing his best cricket recently especially test cricket but he has had a fair go and helped Australia win the WC recently with his stunning fielding display. All I'm saying is I wouldn't mind another younger cricket player take over David Warner as opener, considering Warner misses home and has been lacking in form in test cricket these past few years.

  14. There's no question that Warner has been an excellent opener for Australia, but calling him a hero is way over the top. He's also consistently managed to behave like one of the biggest flogs in the game. And then there's the sandpaper business, on which I am one hundred percent certain that Warner was the ringleader. I for one won't be sorry when he's gone and I don't have to watch him celebrate when he scores a hundred. Anybody would think he'd just discovered the cure for cancer, the way he carries on. Flog.

  15. Warner pretended he was sorry about the sand paper gate. Anyone who can honestly say that any of those dickheads including boof were genuinely sorry can think again.
