Re: Xhekaj: Laraque is spot on!! I've been harping to anyone who would listen that Xhekaj has been a detriment to the team. Don't get me wrong….I love the kid and his game. He's definitely got talent BUT I can't tell you the number of bonehead plays he's made putting the team in tough spots, and they give up a momentum changing goal and lose the game. He has been the most penalized player IN THE NHL!!! If he can get his game reined in then he's worth the time and energy BUT if not the Habs have Mailleux and Reinbacher just waiting to take his spot and he'll become trade bait ir head back to COSTCO in Hamilton. Team comes 1st!!!!

Im absolutely shocked at how good the coyotes are playing, i dont think anyone expected this. Its kind of a breath of fresh air with some young up and coming underdog teams making a push.

Hell no to Ristolianen..he completely fell off and hasnt worked out in philly. We need a defensive minded top 4 that can hit, block shots, clear the front of the net and maybe move the puck..someone like Chris Tanev or Brett Pesce, im sure there are others that would be a good fit too..

Lot of interesting possible player movements. The cap makes trades very difficult to accomplish, but I suspect there will be activity after Christmas. Hannifin to Boston if Bruins willing to give up DeBrusk and someone else to make the dollars even. Have to think Hannifin will be looking for 7.5M. Does appear that Ken Holland is now a lame duck GM until end of season. Would not surprise me if Oilers consider bringing Pierre Dorion on board as his replacement going forward. I think Devils will make a major push for a better goalie, and Gibson from the Ducks will be their main target.

WOW! What a game between New Jersey & Vancouver. All of The Hughes Brothers scored. Vancouver battled back from a multiple goal deficit & with a short time to in the game, The New Jersey Devils broke a 5-5 Tie to win it 6-5. Great Game. Let me know what you think
