Is it SAFE TO EAT A FISH that’s bitten in half?

In this episode I go over in short, that part of fishing is the inevitability of losing your prized catch to predators. I go over the myth about fish being ruined by an attack, and if your fish is still edible after the onslaught. The answer might surprise you. If you’ve ever been in this situation and asked yourself, “is it ok to eat this fish still?” Then this episode’s definitely for you

Enjoy,
Tight lines & good vibes.

  1. Curious how the fish and game would look at it from a legal standpoint if it happens to be a fish with size restrictions

  2. It is completely ILLEGAL to keep any game fish that isn't landed in whole condition. You should probably delete this video before you get sued by anyone of these litigious dicks trying to getbrich without working

  3. But how does fish and game feel about that half fish not meeting size minimums?
I’ve always been of the mindset that eating them is ok but they need to meet the length requirements .

  4. Hi Heath, Other than the size regulation, I would keep it if there was enough meat still on the fish. Also, I don't eat raw fish, or anything else for that matter. Cooking should make it safe to eat. Hope the "Crew" is well and tell them I said "Hi." I've been working around the house lately but should be fishing again soon. Take care and have fun, Mickey

  5. Interesting topic! Thank you for sharing. I would as well keep that fish. However I would cut off about 1/2 of inch from the bite but just for looks. I hope to be out again from John Pennekamp in about a couple of weeks.

  7. Hey sensei, happy new to you and your family. Looking forward to seeing lots of vids from you this year. Came to Florida and the trip got screwed up but I'll catch ya next time. Tight lines. Tell the fish slayer I said wazzup😎

  8. What do you do if you catch something that has a size limit, but what’s left of the fish is now below that size limit.
