    Goodbye Bobby Bortz. 🫡

You were certainly a Blue for a long time.

Didn’t expect that but it’s not too surprising. He’s not playing and we have enough guys.

Damn, that really sucks. Wasn’t he the longest tenured player on the team? We weren’t really utilizing him but still, sucks to see him go

  4. Islanders fan here, thanks for having me. We have some injuries so I think this is why we traded for him. What should we expect?

I’m going to miss Bobo, but it’s not like he was playing a ton for us. Always played with heart though! Good luck in NY.

  6. Curious what will happen with his roster spot. Have to imagine we call up another forward. Our bottom six could use some new energy.

Damn Bobby bo was the longest tenured blue. He would lay in front of a moving train if it meant he would block the shot. Loved his grit.

  8. Bobby Bortz was one of my favorites. Gonna miss this guy.

Bortz will be missed, he was on an island practicing with intensity in 2019 when Blues were in the dumps, and also got to beat Sanfords ass so bad he helped win us a Cup!

He’ll always be highly regarded in pantheon of Blues History for helping get us a Cup!

All the best My Friend! You’ll always have a home in STL:-)

Sir, your legendary Sanford ass-whooping will go down in Blues History. Thank you for that service.

  11. I’ll never forget that backhand cheddar against SJ 🫡 so long bobby bortz you beautiful son of a bitch

  12. So the only people who have continuously stayed with the team since the 2019 cup run are Binner, Schenn, and Parayko. Blais and Sundqvist did make their way back. Kinda insane the squad turnover.

That’s too bad. Watch 2 starting d men get hurt in the next two weeks. Honestly, he always played well when he’d been sitting for weeks and got a chance to play regularly again.
