Stupid Lou why did he trade another 7th for a depth defenseman when Pulock is out. The last time he traded for Brayden Coburn the Senators drafted a guy called Tyson Dyck who’s lighting it up in the NCAA with 4 points and no goals. #firelou
Edit: Real talk, the islanders are missing 3/6 of their opening lineup defensemen and Mayfield has been playing injured since he got back. Unless you want to see Hutton and Bolduc play 20 minutes a night it makes sense to grab a veteran defenseman. In addition, if you had ever praised Garth Snow for picking up depth from the waiver wire and his trades for underrated players but shit on Lou for picking up Reilly and Bertuzzo, you’re a clown.

Blues fan here. Bortuzzo isn’t a guy that’s going to completely turn teams around. He’s a third pairing guy. But if you need a little edge, he can help fill that role. Solid on the PK, willing to get scrummy, and block shots but takes some penalties doing so at times.

We just lost 💩🔒 and the fan base has been begging to get another defense option besides Bolduc. Lou makes a move for a veteran defender for cheap and everyone cries about it. Damned if you do damned if you don’t.
