    Before anyone loses their shit about Fantilli or KJ ice time, they were pretty even with the other kids — until Chinakhov was trying to get a hat trick. Then the Russian line ramped up.

    I’m sure none of them are mad about this.

    Mistakes were made… but the measure of this team will be how they recover from those mistakes and their ability to keep mistakes from compounding. We took a couple of penalties, but we fought through the kills. Passes weren’t always crisp, especially in front of the net, but there was always someone there to get it out of danger. These are the little things that hopefully become second nature. I saw no panic tonight, but of course, we controlled most of the game, so the Blues really never threatened. Now, let’s take it to Bob and the Panthers on Sunday.
