Guy usually does a good job at explaining / trying to deduce what occurred. Interesting theory he has around the 2:30 mark going to the end of the video. Sees a pattern with blows to Larkin’s neck seemingly leading to lack of consciousness.

Not that any of this was good, but I think it would be a fortunate turn of events if this was a result of blood flow being cut off, rather than trauma to the head.

  3. The fact of the matter is

All the times Larkin has been targeted and the NHL has done nothing.

I’d be happy to see nothing more than a Law suite at the end of Larkins career for the nhl negligence

Next one might end his career

    Be better NHL

That slow mo shows two players targeting the head with effort and force!! Wow. These are players fists who deflect 90mph slap shots going extra into the players HEAD.

At like the 1:36 mark does it look like the bald trainer says “his jaw”. Looking at the replays it kinda seems possible he broke his jaw.

How many hits/crosschecks to the head/neck does Larkin have to take before the league does literally anything to the offenders.

And it’s not just Larkin; the league is full of questionable and dangerous incidents of head contact that are repeatedly ignored game after game.

The league either gets serious about this or it keeps happening. I fully support IIHF style punishment on head contact for any reason, don’t care if it’s a guy on my team that gets penalized or not. The human brain doesn’t care whether a hit is “clean” when it comes to concussions and head trauma.
