This is going to sound really dramatic and even a bit selfish almost(don’t want to make his injury about myself), I am very self aware
I’ve been having so much fun this season like I think most Wings fans have. But after seeing that last night(was at the game) it just feels like it ruined it for me. The silence in LCA while everyone’s just staring at him laid out was so eerie. I’ve seen many injuries before but that one felt different. Especially because if it’s something like Meier in the playoffs last year you go ok he got nailed by a hit it makes sense. But in real time without replays I had no fuckin clue what happened
Guy plays his heart out on shit teams for years and gets knocked out when the team is rolling in what should have been a good, fun, rivalry game. The rest of the game wasn’t very fun apart from the Kane goal and man reading shit today I’m just bummed. Even watching the Lions right now usually one of my favorite times of the week I’m kinda like meh
Really hope he’s able to take his time off and come back the same ol Larkin we’ve always known. But man this might be the single most bummed I’ve been as a sports fan in a long time

This is great to hear. Unfortunately, Perron made a bad decision and hit the wrong guy and will miss some games. These cheap shots to the head, back, or neck need to stop, and Joseph should be suspended as well.

Just got done watching a video on YouTube by [Dr. Brian Sutterer](https://youtu.be/jjCmuzv5Kmw?si=jyCBlavmKMqUF6ct) where he was explaining play from a sports medicine POV. He thinks that Larkin was hit in Carotid Sinus with just enough pressure that it caused a temporary drop in his blood pressure, which induced the unconsciousness.
I was at the game last night on the far side of the rink when he went down, so I didn’t see the actual hit to his neck from Kelly until I got home. Looking at it from a couple of angles after the game, I don’t think it was anything malicious/ intentional and that the 2 minute penalty he got was the right call by the zebras. I don’t think DOPS is going to do anything, unfortunately

Glad he will recover, give him some time to recouperate. This team needs to stick together and Kane can settle in . I hope this wings team makes the playoffs with their captain at full health
