  1. At this point, we know Bob and I would take my chances with him in front of the net. I wonder what the holdup is with Spencer Knight? And also get Stolarz better again.

  2. Stolarz is fine. He gave up 1 goal to the leafs in Toronto. He's not getting enough work, any goalie would be bad with rust on them. Lyons was never that good as much as it was the team protecting him. Look at lyons now,he'll be lucky to stay in Detroit the rest of the year. My time travel news papers says so. 😅 go cats

  3. It was a bad hit but Gudbranson knows better, he should have expected a hit but gave up and turned, and you just cant takedown someone like that because they wont fight you lmao, if he hit Cousins head onto the ice and hurt him Gudbranson would prob be out for a long time, no excuse for acting like you are roided up. If anything hopefully Cousins wont tangle with the big guys and Gudbranson will get talked to about acting like a monkey and gets put in timeout for a game and learn to expect a hit lmao.

  4. We needa tell Goldie to stay quiet lmao, everytime he says something a minute later the opposite happens, like the penalty kill, or today with it being a fast and penalty free game.

  5. Every other angle besides the one on Bally also showed the hit from the OTHER side which of course makes it looks like it was worse than it was. It was more on the side but Dudbranson goes low and does not expect to take a hit, which is why you will see everyone saying to suspend Cousins. Refs got the call right in the end and I mean I just love how he goes from down on the ice right to dropping the gloves, choose one man lol.

  6. Yeah on that point, I agree too I think Gadjovich is a little better than Lorentz, great guy but they need Gadjovich out there.

  7. Both players are in the wrong but people need to stop acting like Gudbranson is a saint and did nothing wrong because of "justice"

  8. I really hate it when players think that they can and should take the law into their own hands. If you disagree with the ruling, there is a time and place to complain about this: after the game, initiated by the organization. NOTHING the players do in-game is going to change the ruling, all you can do is hurt your own team like happened today. The league has a channel for teams to complain so use it! More broad refereeing discussions happens off season, where the teams do actually get to talk about and affect how the game is called.

I have a really hard time believing the old, tired narrative that players and teams are somehow helpless against the all-powerful refs, especially since discussions about this topic are held every year. And the teams are very much a part of this, since the league has been set up and is run according to the wishes of the general managers. People always blame the league as if it's some separate entity from the teams, and not the collective decision-making body of the GMs that it really is. Bettman does what the GMs want him to do, so next time you are angry about the league, please please refer to your own team because they are very much part of it.

And if you think that the refereeing is somehow so incompetent or corrupt that the players and teams cannot influence it, then how on earth is this in-game violence going to solve the issue!? Every player, every team is partial, so there is no way that one man's policing will be seen as appropriate or fair by the other side. The players/ teams cannot be let in a positions where they feel like this is something they can do, it will just cause the games to go completely off the rails. Just let the refs do their work and accept their rulings, and voice your concern over channels that the league and teams have set up TOGETHER, where they can actually make a change!

  9. Selfish/ stupid play by Gudbranson, he cost the CBJ any chance of coming back. Thank you Gudbranson! 1-2-3-4-5 Two delicious juicy points.

  10. That play happens very often in an nhl game. It normally goes when both players go into the boards and one player pushes of the other player to get the puck. But on that specific play, nick cousins was trying to hit gudbranson on the shoulder. Instead gudbranson slipped going into the boards which caused cousin’s shoulders to catch the shoulder and the numbers of gudbranson. Also don’t tackle a dude when your playing hockey. Give him a hard hit at most or a challenge to a fight like cmon bro

  11. "Jumps up like marry fucken Poppens" Clapping my Hands for that one. Gave me a tear. The hit looked bad but Blue Jackets player Gudbranson turned himself into the boards. Panthers got a penalty for his stupidity. He thought he wasn't going to get hit hard. Panthers finish their checks. Who knew? The Marry fucken Poppen's Just added to how stupid he was going to look on instant replay.

  12. Only got to see the first period so when I heard what l happened I had to watch the video and my first thought was literally, "how does someone hit the boards like that and 2 seconds later get up so quickly and drop gloves wanting a fight?" Apparently the refs lost control of the game so players had to do it themselves, can't say I blame them it happens.
