If I'm coach Pete, I'm going with Quick for the next couple games. The guy hasn't lost in regulation. Let him play until he loses. The only thing that matters is winning.
Glad Quick got his first win against the Kings since he was traded. 8-0-1 with a gaa of 2.20 and save percentage of .922% is amazing. He made at least 4 to 5 high quality saves last night. Loved seeing him so fired up too.
Quick is our new #1.
I would start Quick for another couple games and let Igor get his confidence back with Benoit Allaire. He has been off since returning from injury.
Hopefully, the people who panicked have a calm down!
I think Quike should be the starter.Lets not forget that he’s being coached by the great Benoit Allaire.His vision and quickness has him playing like he’s 27 not 37.I notice he’s more down and moving his head left to right and picking up the puck much better.He is also great for the system we play.His last few years weren’t that good but in all fairness he’s been bouncing around the last two years.Ben knows how to make and teach goalies and correct there game.Igor I think isn’t picking up the puck that good and he also might be still having a problem with the groin.Again in all fairness we must play better in front of Igor but he has to stop with the soft goals as well.LGR🙏
The Rangers defense plays better in front of Quick unlike Shesty….
I ges if your a Rangers fan it's easy to overlook all the bad calls against the Kings, even the Kings goal that was called back that prob should not have been. This was supposed to be a great game with two of the best teams that hockey fans were waiting for, but it was ruined by the refs.
Going into this season, I was confident that Quick was going to be a solid backup. I just wasn't expecting to see him put up better numbers than Shesty.
I would re-acquire Kane and Tarasenko at the deadline. They both scored in Ottawa’s 5-1 victory in Detroit.
