How could anyone be mad about this game? This game was hilarious! It was the trappiest of trap games and the Leafs looked like it was going to be an easy zero points on a Thursday in mid-December, but instead they staged a crazy 5-0 comeback! And then lost in OT. Hilarious stuff.

Sam, good teams don’t do this. This is so obviously a crap team. Serious teams don’t do this over and over. It was so 100% obvious that they would lay an egg – b/c they are a bunch of talented, but soft prima donnas. This is not a serious team. Everyone needs to take off the leaf goggles.

If you were at the Leaf game you would have a taste of what the Roman Coliseum must have been like when the fan fav gladiator brought the crowd to their feet. ELECTRIC!! I can say that if the Leafs ever manage to win a cup clinching game, I want to be 3 Provinces over, the aftershock of the sound barrier being broken would be deafening.
Sportsnet needs to rotate the hosts, I like these guys but they've lost the plot. That's one of the most exciting periods of hockey you'll ever see in the regular season, and it's historic, and they are both having an existential crisis and rambling for 20 minutes about the 2nd and 3rd string goalies. Matthews, Marner, Nylander, and Tavares just put on show for the ages and they barely mentioned it.
