  1. What do you mean it was mostly dubas guys who pumped the ones?? Domi and Burt had 3 points each

  2. Regarding Max Domi; it’s almost like when you give an elite passer elite scorers to pass to, he does and they score. It appears a Dubas trait is giving new guys just enough rope to hang themselves and then kicking the chair out when they do. Giving guys the opportunity to learn and redeem themselves isn’t a bad thing. He was forced into that tonight and look at the results.

  3. Great LFR Steve- so good to see you so happy!
Yes, like you I didn’t really fully relax until we had six goals. The boys played fantastic hockey tonight, a full team effort, a full 60 minutes, they played 200 feet of the arena and they were just completely in tune with each other. Let’s hope that continues because Man they are dangerous when they play like that. Kudos to Jonesy for such a great shut out!!

  4. The last time I was an honory "Leafs Fan for the Day," we lost 3-2, and I couldn't fathom why anyone would subject themselves to this team…

But, tonight, I can only say, "HOW DO I GO TO SLEEO AFTER THIS!?!?"

  5. Just to add about the Pens….Crosby is awesome, and Malkin is a good player. Stanley Cup winner Erik Karlsson doesn't have what it takes to win another Stanley Cup…..whoops……looks like he never did. He got 100 points last year by destroying the team. I'd rather a D-man with 20 points and a winning record. Blessing Toronto never traded for him. All Toronto has to do is trade Nylander for a bonafide Defenseman. It's that easy. Someone will eventually bite.

  6. I'm here after a Leafs WIN to celebrate but to also ask for, nay demand, less, a LOT less, betting advertising. Commercials for online betting should be, as they are in the UK, banned. Nasty business.

  7. You know every fan does it, but leaf fans are the worst for taking the other teams bad play as their teams good play. Pens defence was Swiss cheese😂 every problem that exists with these leafs is still there, can’t wait to watch the first round.

  8. I was listening to the radio so I didn’t hear the chanting just have seen comments about it. From the sounds of it though, that’s up to misinterpretation about how to take it. Anyone could take that as a cheer, since as you admitted, Kyle Dubas is responsible for the majority of the Leafs’ roster and was let go because they made it to the second round… but didn’t make it to the third. Which is weird, they actually made it to the second round, but I digress.

  9. new lines?
    Bertuzzi—Matthews—Nylander
    Knies—Domi—Marner
    Robertson—Tavares—Jarnkrok
    Gregor—Kampf—–McMann

  10. Ok they have a great record,,,, they have a great record every season! Yes this was a great win , this something that better teams need to do a couple times every season. Do something like this aagain soon!

  11. Don't get excited bro you beat the pens a team with no teeth. Syds greatness is being wasted. That said way to go queefs

  12. One of the Leafs best all-round games I've seen in a long, long time. Steve's right about a GM being booed. You never hear it

  13. I agree Steve, no hasty trading right now. This team is coming together. Every night it’s more and more evident it’s a team effort. Why was Dubas booed? Well, IMO, I was always a bit concerned when Sandin was traded last year. I was thinking, this is Nylander’s best friend…why would you trade one of your best players best friend? And then, all the frantic trading when they got Schenn, O’Reilly, Acciari, Gustafsson(who are all incredible athletes whom I respect 100%) but, where are they now?
I remember thinking, while I appreciate what Dubas was trying to do there, I also thought it sent this message to the buds- he didn’t think they were capable of going all the way without these new guys.
Just my opinion, but I agree Steve. This group is good, coming together, showing good fight. No hasty trades!

  14. This game brought a tear to my eye. How beautiful. Last three games, I haven’t really felt like Taney is a good idea… Benoit and Lagesson look particularly good. Tough, breaking cycles. And McCabe is a stud. No Gio, no Brodie… they’re pretty good. Tanev ain’t worth whatever they want, and he ain’t cheap. Maybe he’s good playoff depth… who knows… helluva showing.
