The ultimate Trevor Zegras highlight film.
Gifted with some of the softest hands to ever play the game, Trevor Zegras of the Anaheim (Mighty) Ducks, burst onto the NHL scene in 2021 and became the most talked-about player in the game. He finished his rookie season with 61 points and was a finalist for the Calder Trophy as the NHL’s best rookie.
An offensive dynamo with an endless bag of tricks, Zegras is perhaps the prototypical YouTube watcher turned player. The league has seen trick-shot artists before, but few have become NHL regulars. Zegras is different. He compliments his masterly arsenal of moves with excellent awareness on the ice, and is as talented a distributor as he is lethal as a sharpshooter.
Zegras shoots the puck in ways that shouldn’t be possible given his size. Both his wrist shot and slap shot are already among the best in the league. But what may stand out most is how rarely he misses the net. Fifty goals is the floor for his potential, but undoubtedly he can surpass that.
All the superlatives are accurate, and yet, Zegras still has a great deal of room to improve. As he gets older, he will grow stronger, and will be able to play a more physical role in the corners and defensively. His passes—while generally excellent—do have the tendency to go far off target, and sometimes, it seems as though there’s no target at all.
The (Mighty) Ducks organization deserves acknowledgement too for how well they’ve developed Zegras. His is a case study for how young players should be handled. While he had the skills to play when he was first drafted at 18, his team wisely decided to take the circuitous route to his NHL debut. Lastly, the Ducks’ legendary coach, Gordon Bombay, has managed his ice time and line assignments well. Neither rushing him nor holding him back, and it’s thanks to this that his future is so bright.

Damn this is incredible work. Love the way you cut this video together and included not only scoring plays but general play highlights. Never see much Ducks content so this is awesome as a fan. Thanks.
Every day I am upset this guy doesn't have millions of subs because he absolutely deserves it all. Love the long videos! Please keep up the great work!
Love the video editing and the time you put into this 🔥
Love how you so gracefully captured the nuances of his game and what makes him such a special and complete player. Amazing video my friend, one of the best ones I’ve seen
Wow! Love that you had so many non scoring clips! I tried to throw as many as I could find into my video, but yours is another level. Great editing!
Thanks for the amazing videos. Its great for me to be able to see plays that weren't good enough for NHL Highlight Videos. Greetings from Germany.
The best Zegras vid I've seen out there. Amazing work bud! Besides Kane, he's my new favorite player. What a show man this kid is!
It has just been brought to my attention that I had initially titled this as '2020-21 Highlights,' when they are actually highlights from 2021-22. This represents a very serious error. Were it not mitigated by the fact that the person who brought this to my attention was also me, I would be issuing myself a formal warning. As it stands, this incident will remain in my employee records, but I will have no further statements to make on the matter and hereby consider it closed.
Nice video! Subbed!
Now everyone didn't let him behind the net and no one timer position
