On a recent trip to Belize we happened on a bar that was started by a guy from Denver moved there for the Diving. It’s on Ambergis Caye on the one road leaving San Pedro. It’s called 303 and you will see the sign has an Avs logo on it. It’s the perfect amount of local bar with a Tiki Bar/Ski Lodge/Diver decor mix. Lots of locals, a live band playing reggae, local beer brought to you in a bucket of ice, with a super chill house dog, open air, over the water two story bar, and the food is excellent. Even ran into a guy who was a fellow UNC alumni so we got to chat about the old days in Greeley. Cannot recommend this place enough.
