Surprised they even have the Jets on there and not the Preds.

That collapse last season is going to linger in the minds of the punditry until proven the Jets can do otherwise. Which, I’m good with, because I think this team plays better with something to prove.

One of the differences I’ve seen this year vs. last year is that we aren’t just beating up bad teams and losing to good ones. In fact, it feels like the opposite. We’re beating good teams and getting beat up by bad ones. We may be the best 5v5 (with Helle) team in the league and that’s with injuries and Bones being in-and-out.

good, we can drop a bomb on both of em when the time comes

Because last year they did this too and had an embarrassing breakdown in the second half the season. There is all the reason in the world to doubt this team, but I do hope they keep this pace up.

Good we can’t be shot down if we fly low enough but keep hitting our targets.

Does this actually bother anyone? I believe in our group a lot but I’m not gonna fault anybody else for picking the team with Mac & Makar.

These jets really do seem like they are gelling as a group though, great to see after the last few years where the chemistry seemed off.

Good, don’t you put that pressure on me Ricky Bobby

Jets will likely never ever win it with their stats going the way they are

I guess people’s TVs were broken last night. Or they were bathing in glory watching the Leafs beating up on an old Pens team.

    Dumbasses haha

Maybe this warm weather we’re having, keeping the boys happy and not so depressed? Just a thought.. It’s another night of scoreboard watching. That’s honestly a quick turnaround for the Avalanche. They’re back home in Denver. I went to the game last night and I’m still tired. Wowzers lol

Under the radar is where fighter Jets are most effective

  13. So many pundits had the Jets going backward this season. But they made those predictions prior to the Thanksgiving bombshell of resigning Scheif and Helly. I think we have to appreciate how much that bit of business by Chevy and staff transformed the team and thus skewed all early predictions. What we see now from pundits and ordinary fans outside of Manitoba is an unsurprising delayed reaction. And like most Jets fans, I don’t complain at all about lack of radar coverage!

  14. Underrated and over deliver; it’s the Winnipeg way
